Chris Sai Louie

Director

Chris is a highly experienced engineer, having managed projects in nine countries in everything from commercial building, infrastructure and maritime to residential property and civil engineering. He has previously run his own design, build and development business, Berntsen and Sai Louie, and has been a consultant Commercial Services Manager to Ports of Auckland Ltd, consulting on strategic management of key port assets, including supervision of more than $100 million of capital works redevelopment.

Chris encourages clear and open communication among his team, and leads with a very hands-on approach. "I want people to know what we can do, we are passionate about what we do, and I reckon we do as good as, if not better than anyone."

Nigel Simonsen

Project Manager

Nigel has experience managing a range of construction and maintenance projects, including prisons, commercial and industrial buildings. Nigel has developed skills in CAD drawing, estimating, procurement and the operation of specialist fabrication software.

Since 1992 Nigel has held management positions in maintenance and manufacturing companies based in Auckland.

Allan Nagy

Operations Manager

Allan is our Operations Manager responsible for managing the manufacture and installation of steel components and also manages some projects. He has been with Adams since 2004 and has a great deal of experience, and specialist skills in CAD drawings, estimating, procurement and operation of specialist fabrication software. He's passionate about quality and keeping to deadlines.

A key part of achieving that has been learning how to motivate people, and keeping them focused on reaching a specific goal. He is known, by Adams Steelguard staff and clients alike, as having a thorough attention to detail.

Adam Wu

Project Manager

Adam graduated from Auckland University in May 2009 with a degree in Engineering. Since joining Adams Steelguard he has developed skills in CAD drawing, estimating, procurement and operation of specialist fabrication software. Adam is bi-lingual, which comes in useful when communicating with overseas suppliers and clients.
