Project Award – Steelguard are pleased to announce we have been selected to supply and install the fire resistant glazing at Te Matapihi Central Library in Wellington.

After a hard couple of months, our manufacture and install project at Mount Albert Grammar School has completed for Southbase Group. 14 sets of 60/0 and smoke rated fire doors completed with panic hardware and some with integrated electronic locks. Steelguard are proud to announce we have been selected to supply and install, large EI60 & EI120 (insulation and integrity) fire rated screens to both Maungawhau, Mount Eden and Katanga-a-hape, K-Road stations on the new CRL extension to Auckland’s busy rail network. These screens are technically challenging due to both their size and the location within the stations that makes access and logistics very challenging.

Steelguard were proud to partner with Woods Glass (NZ) Ltd. to design, manufacture and install this curved steel section joinery screen for LT McGuiness Ltd and Precinct Properties, complete with a bi-partying folding and sliding door set. QA during design was critical as was the digital CNC template sets that were used during production and installation, and were essential in ensuring the curved glass fitted first time when the glass was installed.

Steelguard were delighted to work with Bunnings and Dominion Constructors on the recently opened Bunnings Warehouse project in New Lynn which included automated fire rated swing doors and windows. Although the original contract almost tripled in size as the project progressed, Steelguard still managed to meet the original timeframe.
