About the Project
In this exciting project, we supplied and installed several sets of airlock doors for entry and exit in the enclosures. This was very similar to our project in Wellington Zoo.
Each door was custom-engineered to meet the specific operational and safety requirements of the zoo. We used corrosion-resistant steel, precision-engineered seals, and durable hardware to ensure long-term performance under heavy daily use. Our team coordinated closely with Auckland Zoo staff throughout the installation to minimise disruption, and each door was rigorously tested to meet strict safety standards (2118).
